A recent poll by The Washington Post and ABC News has raised some eyebrows because it shows Joe Biden, the current president, trailing behind his predecessor, Donald Trump, by 10 percentage points. Larry Sabato, a prominent political pollster, criticized this poll, and even the pollsters themselves admitted it was an unusual result.

Sabato, who works at the University of Virginia, called the decision to release the poll "ridiculous." He said it was embarrassing to even publish such an absurd poll. Another political analyst, Nate Cohn from The New York Times, also had concerns about this poll. He mentioned that if a poll is considered an outlier for the second time in a row, it means there might be something wrong with how it's done.

The Washington Post recognized that their poll was different from most other polls, which usually show a close race between Biden and Trump if they were to run against each other in the 2024 election. They mentioned that the difference in results and the unusual groups of people supporting each candidate in their poll suggest that it might be an outlier.

Despite the criticisms, some people still think the poll has value. Martha Raddatz, a host on ABC's "This Week," said that it's tough to dismiss the poll as an outlier. Donna Brazile, a former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, agreed and encouraged Democrats not to panic but to communicate their message to the American people.

In terms of the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, Trump is leading in national and state polls. This is despite facing several criminal charges related to the 2020 election and hush-money payments to a former adult film star. Please Share This Article Thankyou..
