Senator Mitch McConnell health update: What we know about his condition and recovery?

McConnell's office said that he has something called Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation (PAF). It's a heart problem where the heart beats irregularly and fast. This condition can lead to feelings of your heart pounding, feeling dizzy, chest pain, and even fainting. Freezing is an unusual symptom of PAF, and it happens because the brain doesn't get enough blood during these episodes.

PAF is a common heart problem that affects many people around the world. It happens when the electrical signals in the heart go haywire, causing the upper chambers to beat irregularly and faster than they should. Even though PAF is temporary, it still needs careful management and treatment to avoid problems.
